ECCBC partnered with Cosumar, Morocco’s leading sugar producer, to develop an innovative CO₂ capture and valorization project.
The initiative captures approximately 200 tonnes of CO₂ annually from Cosumar’s operations for use in beverage production, reducing reliance on imported CO₂ and supporting local industrial circularity.
The system is expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
